Ordered 8 ton of gabion stone to be delivered to Sheffield which is quite a distance from the quarry. Still worked out cheaper than anywhere else locally. John has been brilliant. He always delivers on time and puts the stone just where you want it. He is an outstanding driver and has delivered over 10 X 17 tonne loads to us and hasn’t once failed to put them exactly where we want them, despite every effort we made to make life difficult for him by having narrow gates and wet fields. The stone too has been top quality. I would recommend John to anyone wanting brilliant quality stone delivered by a top notch driver. I would certainly use him again when I need my next load of stone.

I would like to leave a review as this company went above and beyond to source our garden stone.
From the initial phone call to the drop off, John rang us every step of the way through the whole process. He turned up 30 minutes prior to the agreed time and offered to wait up the road which was a nice gesture. We will be using John again.

I called John on the a Tuesday to order a lorry load of MOT stone. He was very helpful and talked me through things I needed to know. He was able to deliver to me within 2 days of ordering which was great, he also sent a text of the tile slot when he would be delivering, and rang when he was almost at my house. He made sure that was going to be no damage left on road/curb side when leaving the stone. Thank you, I wouldn’t hesitate to order again.

Great service from start to finish. As this was the first time I have ordered gravel for a drive I read each review with interest. I have to say that my experience was exactly as described by other reviewers. John helped me work out which product was best for my drive and how to measure it to gain an accurate understanding of the quantity required. John tipped the gravel in the very best place for ease of shovelling. He gave clear advice as to the best approach to deploy when spreading the gravel. My drive looks so much better!

Firstly I have to say the customer service from start to finish was way above my expectations. I called John for prices and as part of this he gave me some great advice on the right product for the work I was doing. Once this had be sorted John was really flexible with the delivery days and times working with me. He delivered on time and placed the product exactly where I wanted it. I was working away but once delivered John text me to let me know everything was sorted and the delivery was complete this was a little touch I really appreciated and didn’t expect. Would absolutely recommend using Direct Quarry Stone and I wouldn’t use anybody else.
